STEP 3) REGULAR CLASSES
With our different membership options, our members pay an average of $11 per workout. Our most consistent members pay as little as $8 per session. At our gym, the more you workout, the less you pay. (see class schedule)
Our workouts are designed to accommodate all levels and each of our regular classes is closely guided by one of our experienced coaches.

The purpose of our Foundations Program is to introduce participants to the CrossFit methodology and to help familiarize them with our gym and the structure of our training. We typically have a Foundations Program starting once every 7 to 9 weeks. See our FAQ's below for more info.

What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a high intensity strength and conditioning program driven by a strong, community-minded culture. Over the last 10 years, CrossFit has quickly become the biggest and most influential movement that the fitness industry has ever seen. There are currently over 14,000 CrossFit gyms throughout more than 140 different countries around the world.
Who does CrossFit?
Regular people as well as all types of special populations participate in CrossFit. We've worked with individuals well into their 60's and our kids program starts at age 6. We also have a close balance between men and women with about 55% of our members being female. Our methodology is uniquely designed in a way that allows us to train both professional athletes and sedentary individuals with each getting their desired results with the appropriate progressions and levels of intensity.
What are the workouts like?
Our workouts take place in a group format under the guidance of one of our experienced coaches. Our classes can be described as a cross between a personal training session, fitness bootcamp, and sport. The exercises and workouts that we do are constantly varied so that our training never gets repetitive and the novelty of new challenges keeps things interesting. Our "Workout of the Day" is rarely repeated and always includes elements from one or all of 3 categories; (1) barbell, medicine ball, and kettlebell training, (2) running, rowing, and skipping, (3) basic gymnastics and body weight movements.
I just want to get in shape. Is CrossFit a sport or a fitness program?
It's both. About 20% of our members are athletes that train to compete in functional fitness competitions or they are training to be capable at the most demanding of physical tasks, usually because their job or lifestyle demands it. The other 80% of our athletes are people just like you that just want to look and feel better. So if you're interested in being in good shape, but not necessarily amazing shape, don't worry. Our program was developed with you in mind.
I have a lot of gym experience. Do I need to do an intro program?
Unless your gym experience is at a licensed CrossFit facility, the answer is yes. To make the most out of the instruction in our regular classes, participants must have a base level of knowledge about our movement standards, the logistics and structure of our training, and the concept of scaling using appropriate progressions. Completing one of our intro programs will dramatically improve your experience in our regular classes and it will accelerate your progress in our program.
Can I do the Foundations Program if I can't make it to all of the classes?
If you end up having to miss one of the 6 sessions, it's not a big deal, as long as it isn't the first one. If you think you'll have to miss more than 1 session or Day 1, give us a call and we can see what we can do to accommodate your schedule.
Can I try a free class first?
We currently do not offer a free trial class. Our workouts are constantly varied and rarely repeated. Because of this, we find that it's difficult to grasp an understanding of CrossFit without trying it several times. How is CrossFit different from any other fitness program?
There's a long list here but one of the biggest factors is the community. We find that it's much easier to face the task of getting healthier and fitter when you have the support of others doing it with you. And if you want to be happy and healthy, you'll start moving in that direction without even trying if you spend enough time with happy and healthy people. It also has a lot to do with the quality of instruction. At our gym, you're exposed to a number of quality coaches that are committed to your progress. Training with us is comparable to what you get with a personal trainer, but with a lot of extras and at a fifth of the price tag.
I don't think I'm ready for CrossFit. Should I get into better shape first?
We hear this all the time and it drives us crazy. An important part of CrossFit is that it is scalable to all levels. Our coaches, our workouts, the exercises we do and our gym are all organized in a way that allows our members to learn and workout at a pace that is best for them. So no, you don't have to be in shape to start getting in shape and the best way to prepare for CrossFit is to do CrossFit.
The CrossFitters I see are all in great shape. How will I keep up?
The people you see in most of our photos and in videos online are typically those that have done CrossFit for quite some time. The top performers are the ones that get showcased. What you don't see is that our gym is filled with just-off-the-couchers and people who were once intimidated by the very sight of a barbell. But they quickly learned that effort is what matters in CrossFit. If you're willing to work hard and you have a decent attitude, it doesn't matter if you're 200 lbs overweight; you will have more success with us than an elite athlete that has poor work ethic or a bad attitude.
How long will it take for me to get results?
This is the million dollar question. But the thing is, no one knows the answer except you. Only you know how committed you will be. Only you know much work you're willing to put in. Just like everything else, what you get out of it depends on what you're willing to put into it and there's no substitute for hard work. What we can tell you is that if you commit to it, there is no program that will get you results faster than ours.
